Eligibility: High school senior, undergraduate, or trade school student who is the child of a veteran who is also an entrepreneur or business owner.
Requirements: Essay (400-600 words) on how the veteran parent's entrepreneurial journey impacted educational/professional goals and how military service affected the applicant.

Eligibility: High school senior or undergraduate student who is an immigrant and is pursuing education to become a teacher, professor, or school district administrator.
Requirements: Essay (400-600 words) about your immigration experience and desire to become an educator.

Eligibility: Female undergraduate or graduate student in Fall 2026, pursuing a STEM degree at a U.S. or Canadian institution, 17 years or older. No GPA requirement. Must present as female.
Requirements: Completed application; URL to a brief video (around 3 minutes) showcasing involvement in a STEM-related project.

Eligibility: LGBTQ+ student, current or incoming undergraduate/graduate student in journalism/mass communications in the U.S., committed to journalism and NLGJA's mission, U.S. citizen/permanent resident, and NLGJA member.
Requirements: Application, one-page résumé, five work samples, proof of attendance, and official transcript.

Amount: Up to $3,000.
Eligibility: LGBTQ+ student of color, current or incoming undergraduate/graduate student in journalism/mass communications in the U.S., committed to journalism and NLGJA's mission, U.S. citizen/permanent resident, and NLGJA member.
