Ian Shaw
President, Brewer Foundation
Mr. Ian Shaw is president of the Brewer Foundation. In this role, he is involved in the management of the Brewer Foundation’s flagship educational programs – the Future Leaders Program (FLP) and Brewer Foundation / NYU International Public Policy Forum (IPPF).

Prior to joining the Brewer Foundation, Mr. Shaw was with Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., where he practiced commercial litigation, labor employment, and personal injury defense.
​
Mr. Shaw previously worked in Brewer’s New York office, and during that time earned certificates in Marketing and Public Relations from Cornell and NYU, respectively. He later moved to Dallas to attend law school at The University of North Texas and Dallas College of Law, and clerked for the Hon. Judge Eric Moyé. Mr. Shaw then worked with Brewer as an associate.

Val Curry
Program Coordinator, FLP
Ms. Valerie Curry serves as the Program Coordinator for the Brewer Foundation Future Leaders Program.
Prior to joining the FLP team, she served as both a word processor and legal secretary for Brewer Attorneys and Counselors. Ms. Curry brings her word processing expertise and database knowledge to the FLP team and oversees the collection of qualifying paperwork for both program participants and teachers.

Advisory Board
The FLP benefits from a dynamic management model. Brewer Foundation Chairman William A. Brewer III chairs an advisory board of public and private school administrators that works with the FLP administrative staff from the Brewer Foundation to oversee the program.
The advisory board guides a management committee that includes principals from public schools, administrators from private schools, and representatives from a number of community agencies.
