Eligibility: High school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA; must be accepted to a college; preference for students pursuing legal or criminal justice careers (African American students encouraged to apply).

Requirements: 400–600 word essay on how law enforcement can improve relationships with the African American community + letter of recommendation from a teacher or administrator.

Eligibility: Any student who is not a U.S. citizen and has community service or volunteer experience — specifically aimed at undocumented students pursuing higher education.

Requirements: 400–600 word essay defining your interpretation of the American dream and how it relates to your educational goals.

Eligibility: Students (high school or college) who’ve experienced a life-altering “defeat” or setback and who have demonstrated resilience and a commitment to personal growth.

Requirements: 400–600 word essay describing that setback, what you learned from it, and how it shaped your future goals.

Eligibility: High school seniors who play tennis, demonstrate leadership, and plan to attend college (no specific major requirement).

Requirements: 400–600 word essay describing your tennis experience, leadership on or off the court, and how college will help you grow personally and academically.

Amount: $1,450 (2 awards, $725 each)

Eligibility: African American or Caribbean-descended high school seniors or undergraduate students pursuing a four-year degree.

Requirements: An essay (400–600 words) about yourself, your educational goals, an obstacle you faced, and what that experience taught you.

Deadline: April 1, 2026

 

Amount: $500–$1,000 (more than 50 awards)

Eligibility: Male, graduating high school seniors in the United States enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in the fall.

Requirements: Demonstrated ability to excel in academics, extra-curricular school activities, and community involvement.

Deadline: April 1, 2026

 

Amount: $1,000 (1 award)

Eligibility: Any student (high school, undergraduate, or graduate) who has faced significant challenges and redefined what victory means to them. Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Requirements: A 400–600 word essay on a time you faced a significant challenge and redefined victory for yourself, and how this new definition guides your life.

Deadline: April 1, 2026

Eligibility: High school seniors, undergraduate, or graduate students who are U.S. citizens and are cancer patients, cancer survivors, or directly impacted by cancer through a loved one.

Requirements: A 500-word essay detailing your experience with cancer and how it has motivated you to pursue your academic and career goals.

Deadline: April 1, 2026

Eligibility: Any student (high school, undergraduate, or graduate).

Requirements: 200–600 word essay on why you love "Wicked," how it has impacted you personally, and what makes it special to you.

Eligibility: High school seniors or current college students who are passionate about environmental protection, sustainability, or kindness toward the planet.

Requirements: 400–600 word essay describing how you support environmental protection or sustainability and how you will continue to make an impact in the future.

Eligibility: High school seniors in Texas who participate in band.

Requirements: A 400–600 word essay describing how band has shaped your character through memorable musical performances and how future band involvement will shape your ongoing goals.
