Amount: $40,000 per student (20 awards available nationwide, $10,000 per year for 4 years).
Eligibility: Black/African American high school senior who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, leadership potential, and active community service.
Requirements: Application (via Ron Brown Scholar website) including two essays (~500 words each), academic transcript, standardized test scores (optional), two recommendation letters (at least one from a teacher/counselor), and family financial information (tax forms/FAFSA).

Eligibility: High school senior who will pursue a degree in a medical or health-related field (e.g. nursing, medicine, therapy, dentistry, laboratory science, etc.) Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Requirements: Short application form including a 400–600-word essay or video on a healthcare topic (often “Why I Want to Work in Healthcare” or similar prompt); proof of enrollment or acceptance in a healthcare program; transcript showing GPA.

Amount: Full tuition + annual stipend $30,000–$46,000, book/health allowances, summer internships, and a DoD civilian job after graduation.
Eligibility: High school seniors who are citizens of the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or U.K., 3.0+ GPA, must be 18+ by Jan 1, 2027 and pursuing an approved STEM field at a regionally accredited U.S. institution.
Requirements: Online application with transcripts and references, accept a summer internship(s), and agree to post-grad DoD service (1 year per year of funding, up to 5).
Deadline: December 5, 2025 (5:00 p.m. ET).
Amount: Up to $2,500 in scholarships. (Prizes: 1st place $2,500 scholarship, 2nd $1,500, 3rd $500, plus additional tech gift cards).
Eligibility: Texas students in grades 9–12.
Requirements: Create an original 30-second video PSA showing positive ways to “Take Care of Texas” – e.g. keeping the air or water clean, conserving water or energy, or reducing waste. Video must include the slogan “Take Care of Texas. It’s the only one we’ve got.”
