Amount: $1,000 (2 awards).  

Eligibility: High school or college students; first-generation students and parents/single parents eligible. 

Requirements: 600-word essay (topic: what makes you a non-traditional student and what drives you). Deadline: November 17, 2025.  

 

Amount: $12,000 

Eligibility: Must be an out member of the LGBTQ+ community, be enrolled or intend to enroll at an accredited U.S. college or university and be a first-generation student and/or come from a low-income background.   

Requirements: Fill out their application. 

Deadline: November 20, 2025. 

 

Amount: $3,200–$25,000 (600 awards).  

Eligibility: High school senior; active NHS member in good standing; NHS student account verified by adviser; planning to attend an accredited U.S. college, university, military institute, or trade school.  

Requirements: Online application via NHS portal.  

Deadline: November 24, 2025. 

 

Amount: $10,000 (2 awards).  

Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate; 3.0+ GPA; studying special education, occupational/physical therapy, speech therapy, or social work; intent to work in PK–12 special education.  

Requirements: Short essay on how you’d work with a child like Rebecca (methods, teaching, family role).  

Deadline: November 22, 2025.

Requirements: Short essay on your passion + response to a provided quote.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to any student who can shed light on the issue of addiction. It may be a personal story that you can share or a more researched essay. 

Requirements: Write an 800-1500 word essay that answers the questions listed on their site.

Amount: $1,000.  

Eligibility: A high school upper classman passionate about education.  

Requirements: Write a 150-word personal statement responding to the prompt: “Describe why education is important to you. Be specific with an example or anecdote from your own life about the importance of education instead of writing generally about education.”
