College
Readiness
All FLP high school students, grades 9-12, participate in a summer College Readiness Workshop. This week-long camp provides students with academic counseling, leadership development training, and opportunities for community volunteerism.

The FLP provides upperclassmen with one-on-one college counseling. Students take part in specialized classes that assist them with the college admissions and enrollment process, as well as college entrance exams.
The FLP periodically sponsors educational trips for its students. In May 2024, 36 FLP students participated in an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City. Students toured Yale University and Fordham University and visited sites such as Staten Island. They also attended the finals of the Brewer Foundation / NYU International Public Policy Forum (a high school debate competition).

FLP alumni are graduates of many elite colleges and universities, including New York University, Northwestern University, Yale University, Colby College, Pomona College, The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Christian University.

The FLP has a 100% high school graduation rate. Between 2009 and 2022, of 247 FLP seniors, 75% were accepted into a four-year university, college, or community college. The Class of 2024 FLP graduates have thus far received more than $2 million in scholarship offers.
