Our Students

Over half of FLP graduates will be the first in their family to go to college. The FLP helps them get there by setting high expectations: all students are required to maintain an 85 average and excellent school attendance.

 

Students are challenged by a curriculum that teaches a half a grade level above the traditional classroom. Courses focus on hands-on mathematics activities, CSI courses, and even Socratic seminars.

 

FLP students are some of the best and brightest from Dallas ISD, with accolades that include multiple winners of the Gardere MLK Oratory Competition.
